Price Development Group is adding 354 apartment units to the Baker neighborhood.
The Kansas City-based developer will build the community at 363 South Broadway on a 2.82-acre site. Scheduled to open in 2020, the complex will feature a fitness and business center, pool and rooftop lounge.
Part of the complex will consist of five stories of apartments over two stories of parking, and four stories of apartments over one story of parking.
There will be studios, one-bedrooms and two-bedroom apartments. Half of the complex will be one-bedroom units.
The Baker neighborhood has seen some other multifamily activity recently. Earlier this month, a 2.3 acre-parcel sold for $12 million. The buyer announced apartments and retail space would be built on the property.
Zocalo Development is also renovating a historic hotel in the neighborhood into affordable housing units.
